To name a few - the mechanics of strength, yield, and stress concentration; the material properties of chemical resistance, lubricity, hardness, shrinkage, and cost; the cosmetic aspects of texture, polish, and clarity; and the manufacturability of gate locations, draft, and ejector pins. Trying to consider it all can quickly get you spinning your wheels.
